On 7 June the traffic is restored at the 20th km of Trakia Motorway. Major renovation of the facility is completed

On Friday - 7 June, around 12 noon, the traffic in the Sofia direction will be restored between the 20th and 21st km of the Trakia motorway. Due to the repair of the agricultural underpass from 8 May the traffic was two-way in the lane to Burgas. With the completion of the construction works, normal traffic on the motorway is restored, making it easier for drivers to travel for the active tourist season and the increase in traffic to the Black Sea resorts.

Before the Easter weekend the facility in the direction of Burgas was repaired. With the completion of the construction works, the agricultural underpass at the 20th km of the Trakia Motorway, which has been in operation since 1978, has been repaired. BGN 792 thousand VAT included have been invested in its renovation from the budget of the Road Infrastructure Agency. The facility has new waterproofing, joints, paving, restraint systems, signage, etc.

The construction works were executed by "Avtomagistrali" EAD after an open procedure under the Public Procurement Act last year.
