Vignette fees entitle a single road vehicle with a total technically permissible maximum mass of up to or equal to 3.5 t to use the toll road network for a specified period.

Procedure for providing the administrative service / issuing the individual administrative act, requirements and necessary documents:
Electronic vignettes can be purchased in several ways convenient for the users of the national road network:
• electronically - from the site www.bgtoll.bg and the mobile application;
• at a self-service terminal in retail outlets - by card payment, including by a fuel card;
• at the box office in the points of sale and in the regional road administrations of the Road Infrastructure Agency - by cash payment, card payment, including by a fuel card;
Upon payment of the vignette fee, the owner or user declares the registration number of the vehicle, its category and the period of validity of the vignette fee, which applies only to the vehicle whose registration number was correctly declared by the person.

Electronically, through the ELECTRONIC TOLL COLLECTION SYSTEM
The effective date of the electronic vignette, declared upon payment, may not be later than 30 days after the date of purchase.

Term of validity of the document / individual administrative act:
The electronic vignettes, according to the period of validity are as follows:
1. annual vignette valid for a period of one year as of the starting date of validity declared upon its payment;
2. quarterly vignette with a validity of three months as of the starting date of validity declared upon its payment;
3. monthly vignette with a validity of one month as of the starting date of validity declared upon its payment;
4. weekly vignette valid for 7 calendar days from the starting date of validity requested upon payment;
5. weekend vignette valid from 12.00 on Friday to 23.59 on Sunday of the same week.
Fees or prices, grounds for their determination and methods of payment
The vignette fees are collected in accordance with the TARIFF for the fees that are collected for the passage and use of the national road network, adopted by the Council of Ministers Decree No. 370 of 20.12.2019, promulgated, SG, issue 101 of 27.12.2019, amended, issue 16 of 24.02.2020
The prices in BGN are as follows:
1. annual vignette - 97 levs
2. quarterly vignette - 54 levs
3. monthly vignette - 30 levs
4. weekly vignette - 15 levs
5. weekend vignette - 10 levs

• electronically - from the site www.bgtoll.bg and the mobile application
• at a self-service terminal in retail outlets - by card payment, including by a fuel card

When issuing an electronic vignette, it is sent in the form of an electronic message to an e-mail address, if such is indicated when purchasing it, and it is reflected in the electronic system for issued electronic vignettes maintained by the Road Infrastructure Agency.
- When paying for the vignette fee in cash, by bank transfer or by card payment, at points of sale located near the border checkpoints, in the regional cities of the country and along the paid road network, as well as through self-charging terminals, located on the toll road network, in the regional cities of the country and at the border checkpoints or near them:
The user receives a payment document confirming the payment of the relevant fee for the requested period and road vehicle.
