Procedure for providing the administrative service / issuing the individual administrative act, requirements and necessary documents:
Where, upon issuing an electronic vignette, a technical error has been made when declaring the registration number of the vehicle, including the country in which it is registered or its category, an adjustment may be made by the officials concerned if, following an application for a change of incorrectly declared data by the owner or user, it is indisputably determined that in the Republic of Bulgaria, there is no registered road vehicle with identical to the originally declared in the vignette registration number, country of registration or category. The correction in the data of the electronic vignette is valid from the moment of making the correction and is valid until the expiration of the validity of the originally issued vignette.
- The correction of a technical error pursuant to art. 10a, para 3b of the Roads Act, is carried out in the following cases:
- In case of incorrect vehicle registration number;
- In case of incorrect country of vehicle registration;
- In case of incorrect category of the vehicle.
- The correction of a technical error by the order of art. 10a, para 3b of the Roads Act is admissible for:
- Owner, user in accordance with the requirements of art. 4, para 3 of Regulation No. I-45 of 24.03.2000 or user of a road transportation vehicle authorized by them.
- Necessary documents upon submitting an Application for correction of a technical error pursuant to art. 10a, para. 3b of the Roads Act;
- Vehicle registration certificate;
- Receipt for the paid electronic vignette;
- Power of attorney in case the application is not submitted by the owner of the vehicle.
