Education:
Eng. Valchev holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, majoring in Transport Engineering. He is a graduate majoring in Road Safety.

Career:
Since 20 November 2023 he has been a member of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency.
He has over 22 years of experience in the design of roads, bridges and junctions in Bulgaria, UK, UAE and Jamaica, as well as 15 years of experience in construction supervision of road infrastructure projects in Bulgaria and abroad. He has worked on the construction supervision of sections of the expressway Mezdra – Botevgrad, Struma Motorway, Hemus Motorway, Trakia Motorway, the Western arc of the Sofia ring road, the construction of the Vazrazhdane Park in the City of Sofia et al.
Eng. Valchev has over 10 years of experience in the field of transport modelling in urban environments and road safety.
